In a multi-unit setup, the Apollo designated as the Monitor unit will be responsible for sending and receiving Word Clock to or from equipment outside of the Apollo system. If you only are looking for more inputs, then you only need to connect from the ADAT output of the third party device to the ADAT input of the Apollo.
